The house rules

'26 09 11

Short, because a camera should be. Using Rheveal — as a host or a guest — means you agree to these.

What Rheveal is

A disposable camera in the browser, plus a shared gallery, for one event at a time. A host creates the event and controls its gallery. Guests scan a code and shoot. Rheveal is made by Mhilo LLC — confirm.

Your photos are yours

You keep the rights to what you shoot. By shooting on an event you give the host, and us, what's needed to do the obvious things: store the photo, show it in the event's gallery, send it in the release email, and let the host embed the gallery elsewhere. Nothing beyond that. We don't use your photos to promote Rheveal without asking you.

Galleries are shared

Once a host releases a gallery, it's public to anyone with the link. Don't shoot what you wouldn't want seen there. The host can hide any frame; you can pull your own before release. After release, ask the host.

If you're the host

Don't

If you do, we may remove content, close the event, or close the account — and we'll cooperate with the law where we have to.

It's a camera, not a vault

Rheveal is provided as-is. We work hard not to lose a frame — shots are saved to your phone at capture and upload when there's signal — but film gets lost sometimes, services go down, and phones die at parties. Save the shots you love to your phone. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost photos, lost galleries, or anything that follows from using Rheveal, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us for the event.

Changes and endings

We can change these terms; if it matters, the datestamp at the top moves. We can stop offering Rheveal, or any part of it, with reasonable notice to hosts. You can stop using it whenever you like — hosts by deleting their events, guests by removing their info.

The legal bits

These terms are governed by the laws of jurisdiction — confirm. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest stands. Questions: hello@rheveal.app.
